This past Labor day weekend Brodie and I had a blast and got to see a lot of our friends and family. It started off Thursday night when our good friends Mark and Sarah Turpin (who we haven't seen in forever) stopped by. They were traveling through and stopped. Thursday night we went out to a nice dinner and walked around downtown Missoula. We just chatted all night long and watched a movie that wasn't very good. They stayed the night and the next morning they convinced me to stay home from work. We went on a hike called Morrell Falls which was beautiful, and then we headed home. Then they headed out. We had so much fun spending time with them and their cute baby Boyce.
Then Friday morning we headed for Idaho. We went straight to the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot, which by the way is way better than Missoula's fair. We hung out with our friends Chad, Shane and Heidi, and our family Taylor, Briannia, Jaxon, Kannon, Derek, Laressa, and Jenntry. We had so much fun and loved spending time with all our friends and family. We love you all so much! We went to bed late that night and stayed with Brodie's parents. It was great to spend time with them too!
Sunday we went to church and them met up with the family again for a huge delicious dinner from Reed and Melanie's garden! It was so yummy; I loved it.
Labor day, Monday morning we headed up to Rexburg to clean, move furniture, and fix a water heater at our rental. I was sort of dreading it since every time we go to Rexburg something seems to break or go terribly wrong and take too long to fix. But it was awesome. We actually got everything done that we wanted to and more!!
What a great weekend!
